After a while of advertising one day I got a call from Frank Lopez, the
Research Librarian for the Ortho Division of Chevron Chemical Company.
One of his assistants was going to go on maternity leave so they called
me up and scheduled an interview for a position as an information
technician, to do database searches while the woman was on leave.
I put on my navy blue pinstripe three piece suit for the interview.
After the initial interview with frank Lopez I was led to the office
of the woman, quite pregnant, who after a short bit of time was obviously
disturbed to be in my presence. I just looked at her, much the same way
that I looked at Karl Jensen.
