So I have Apple's Safari web browser in the foreground and a finder window visible in the
background but configured for searching after having pressed command-f
I use the mouse to move the cursor so that it hovers over the Finder window and buttons
in the search bar highlight. WYTF

So I bring the Finder to the foreground and move the mouse to place the cursor so that it
hovers over buttons in the Safari task bar and the buttons highlight in the Safari background window.
What good is this? Morons
As a consequence of posting this page to #macintosh on EFNet I found
out that those annoying yellow boxes are hated by many and they are called
tooltips and they can be turned off in Safari and I did so. I have not been
able to locate knowledge about how to do so with Finder.
