On the morning of March 27th I had left for the City(San Francisco) where I had an appointment to pick up some WVO for the biodiesel process I was building. I had queried my housemate earlier that he was going to run an erand leaving about 1400 hours and I left at 1130 hours picking up the oil and getting 4 each 10 foot 4x4 PT posts for constructing a fence for the part of my property which abutts the creek, my current fence being in a state of disrepair, my priorities had been the biodiesel process/business that I was following with ferver as I recognized it as something that was going to save my life.

It was close to 2 PM and I had stopped at Jack In The Box(JITB) conveniently located .7 mile from my home. Waiting at the window for my burger my housemate rides by on his electric 3 wheel scooter, we exchange plesantries, he goes on his way, I drive home and pull into the driveway. I soon discover items missing and call 911. The deputy comes out takes the report and pictures. My housemate returns from Walgreens in time to cross the path of the deputy.

In the analysis the scooter travels 7 mph, .7 miles becomes 6 minutes Me driving home at 25 mph is 3 minutes. The time delay at JITB I have been using the figure 2 minutes but I will go to JITB and time it next time. I traveled to JITB on his scooter and it did take 6 minutes me riding. That is 9 minutes plus JITB delay for the crew to be alerted, travel to my house, gain entry to my back yard by going through the Public Works easement alloweed to gain access to the creek and through my decrepit fence gain entry to my back yard open the back door with (I assume) a bump key, take the missing items, be surprised by my arrival 9 plus minutes after the opportunity to enter my house presented itself, retreat out the back door, lock it behind them and hide in my back yard until darkness(2000 hours) allowed their escape.

I timed a burger at JITB Martinez and it took 20 seconds but this was rather fast I would cut the time at JITB Appian to a minute
