Paul Erdos was 20th Century greatest mathematician
I love math

The title is The Unanswered Question which is not The Unasked Question but I took the opportunity to lead into this:

Background Scenario

Imagine an Indian Fakir
One of the things they do is lie on a bed of nails Why I know not. He has a turban on his head and cloth covering for his genitals
Take the same bed of nails and layer on top of it a sheet of plastic
Proceed to sprinkle drops of water on the plastic noticing that low points collect water between the points of the nails
Continue sprinkling water until the weight of the water on the plastic causes the nails to pierce the plastic and the suspension collapses.
Notice that no one drop can be identified which precipitated the collapse

Now imagine that instead of water bits of information, not all significant by themselves are added to something
Added to what? A mind!
Bits of information influence a mind. The collapse is a Copernican Revolution of the Mind
What and why are the questions begging
"What" cannot be answered as the answer cannot be given as a single bit of information
Why

I think Erdos invented Combinatorics. I was fortunate to have attended a lecture given by him at UC Davis. He talked about Combinatorics
