Gun Studies: Antis Descend Into Anger Because They Can't Win On Facts USA - -(Ammoland.com)- There is a generational amnesia that we must overcome. For example, if one was born too late to remember the multiple affairs of John F. Kennedy (JFK), one must study history to know about them, and that they took place in the White House, during his presidency.

So, if one discusses today's national politics and hears an accusation that President Trump is an abomination because he had an active sex life before he took office and one does not know about JFK, or for that matter, Bill Clinton, one would lose the argument because of ignorance. Not because of merit.

Today, the ignorant anti-gun mob appear to be even more insane than ever, and it is up to the Second Amendment grassroots folks, like us, to educate the ignorant - both friends and foes. We note obstructionists threatening the lives of conservative politicians. Their hostility can quickly dissolve into violence, and that possibility is something we must be prepared for, though we wish to avoid it.

We note the constant filthy mouth of David Hogg attempting to extort Publix Markets. The likelihood is that Mr. Hogg will be alive long after President Trump is dead. We must train the less informed among us to become our most knowledgeable. One learns while one teaches. Don't be afraid to read something ten times, or to ask for help.

Let's look to the past for some help, and let us concentrate now on those biased researchers who try to find negative data about civilian gun possession. These researchers and writers could find no benefits to gun possession, but neither could they find violence reducing laws. And we know they would have if they could have! It's just that the Black Market always keeps getting in the way of the promised peaceful society.

The following articles are here for example:

They concluded, "implementation of the Brady Act appears to have been associated with reductions in the firearm suicide rate for persons aged 55 years or older but not with reductions in homicide rates or overall suicide rates." We should remember that these folks would lie if they could get away with it. We should accept their findings! Restrictive gun laws do not work as promised by our power-crazed politicians and by ignorants like David Hogg. They examined laws designed to reduce access to criminals and unqualified persons and found that pro and con arguments were based on speculation, not evidence. They write, "It is simply not known whether it is possible too shut down illegal pipelines of guns to criminals nor the costs of doing so." That's cleaned up scientific jargon that means the black market trumps all the laws they can think of, short of repealing the Second Amendment.

They could not find evidence that the 1994 federal assault weapons ban was effective. While they found that some restrictive laws reduced gun suicide, "findings regarding overall suicide rates have been less consistent." Here, they disguised the information that one does not need a gun to commit suicide. Something the Japanese already knew.

They can't figure out how to control the black market, but they won't give up the attempt. They are stymied by problems with police-community relations and the Second Amendment. Are we getting blamed again? Did we just go back in time, folks?

Cause that is where criminologists began decades ago, before the data gave us hard facts and answers.

This is where the international anti-gun community, the United Nations, and the world, is now, too. And it is why THEY are desperate to create the Arms Trade Treaty (a.k.a. ATT).

Clyde Haberman assumes that the victory of pro-regulation forces lies in getting the law passed and implemented, whichever law it may be. He does not seem concerned with the outcome, only with the victory and the many false promises, in which he has faith.

This is what the new generation of firearm owner will face - the knowledge, or lack thereof, of researches like Cook, and his ilk, and the blind ignorance of David Hogg, and his handlers/backers.

Without knowing the answers of the past, our NEW GUN GENERATION will not be able to protect our Second Amendment from these rabid critters.
