Home Depot bought Yardbirds my local favorite hardware store and in the recent economic downturn closed it, so I bought 9 each 10 foot sticks of Schedule L(less is more) 1/2 " copper pipe for $6.13 and before that 4 sticks for about $7 each and some change.
I assembled a bunch of fittings and soldered together a solar collector which I think is worth about 1.5KW incident solar energy in the form of heat.

Don't watch this unless you are masochistic
You will be listening to the air compressor building up pressure.
It needs to be done over, this will happen likely the next time I turn on the air compressor.

Home Depot is one of the places I went to looking for a job after getting laid off from my contractors position. They didn't hire me. Wasn't surprised. The times I am surprised is when someone does hire me which has happened on occassion, not very often.
Home Depot solicited from me an opinion which had me submit an email address. Since I own the domain from which I send and receive email I submitted an email address which contained the name homedepot and in the address also a request that no spam be sent to the email address which I was providing.
Home Depot leaks email addresses to spammers as I later got spam addressed to the email addy I provided to Home Depot.
Home Depot contributed $35M to the organization Autism Speaks I wonder how the employees at YardBirds will like to know about that. Home Depot could institute an Affirmative Action Plan to get autistics into the workforce. I would like to gain entry into the workforce.
