Kekule was a chemist who had this substance that analyzed to 6 carbons and 6 hydrogens. At the time, only the molecular structures of simple organic compounds were known. Straight chain alkanes were known to follow the pattern CnH(2n+2) so hexane where n=6 would be C6H14

This is a work in progress. It will point to my Kekule Experience
I will point to a companion piece of work which is also a computer Animation of the Complex Autocatalytic Reaction Mechanism that I discovered to be operating in the dehydration reaction of alcohols in HMPT. I found that QuickTime Pro converted the movie to be web renderable and mentioning it here I do because it is proof of concept. The promise is that the TIMP movie will be renderable on the web. Currently it plays on my laptop.
