I got out of class about 4 PM and took off my left front strut an hub and replaced it with the one out of FX 1


The lower left stud is equi-distant from its two neighbors and the upper right is also equidistant from its two neighbors but is a different distance than that between the lower left and its neighbors, that means it will fit only one way. By the way this thing rotates freely so the studs will rotate clockwise or vice versa

The hub and the strut weight a bit over 20 pounds. Actually about 120 pounds. I took the bathroom scale back to Sears and exchanged it for one that was not broken
Lift it into place with one hand and manage to get the studs aligned with the holes and install one nut to hold it in place






The post was slung fron the wishbone arm with chain and I stood on the post to draw down the arm so that I could place and connect the ball joint mount to the swing arm
Tomorrow I change the right one
